“If you love something, set it free,

if it comes back; it’s yours,

if it doesn’t, it was never meant to be.”

For as long as I could remember this quote was a permanent fixture in my childhood home. A plaque mounted on the wall with a tiny brass bird attached. A gift from my father to my mother. I recited this poem to myself before I was given my first bible, and long before I ever knew what it meant. To this day in some form or another I’ve lived by this poem, which is why I’m here today.

This is my third attempt of starting a blog and this will be a success, not just for me but for so many others. My reason for starting this blog in particular is to provide a pathway for so many women like myself who were once Teen mothers. Especially, those of us who never married, who lost friends, family and a social life along the way. Now that our children are grown and gone, were still young. So what now? OkaynowGo…LIVE!
